At this event, students from the University of New South Wales will showcase their experiences in developing their first Forge apps. Each group will present the app they created as part of their capstone project, with each app utilizing AI to enhance Confluence's capabilities for specific use cases.
The apps integrate with a range of large language models (LLMs) like OpenAI and Gemini through their APIs. You can access these APIs from Forge using the Forge Fetch API with bearer token authentication, along with its External authentication capabilities for APIs that need OAuth 2.0 tokens. Within Confluence, you can trigger the apps from the Confluence content action or the context menu and create advanced Macros to provide additional value to the end users.
Here's what you can expect to see:
An auto-blogging application that converts recorded audio into transcribed, editable blog posts
An AI-powered app for creating Confluence pages from voice memos
A Forge app that leverages voice-to-text AI to streamline the Confluence documentation creation process
A note-taking app for Confluence, with in-page functionality and note-sharing capabilities
Join us and discover the capabilities of Forge as we showcase the amazing achievements of these students, who accomplished so much in a short period of time.
This session will be recorded and shared on our Atlassian Developer YouTube channel following the event.
