Are you ready to build something great?

The Rovo Cup Canada is a hands-on Atlassian Community competition for participants based in Canada. Attendees may join individually or as a team to design and submit one original Rovo agent or solution that solves a real work problem using native Atlassian products and Rovo capabilities.

Whether you are new to Rovo or already building with Atlassian tools, this event is designed to help you jump in, experiment, and have fun. Participants will work on a real-world problem, explore how Rovo can make everyday work easier, and learn practical ideas from peers across the Canadian Atlassian Community.

Submit by October 9, 2026

Don't wait until the last minute — as soon as your Rovo agent or solution is ready, go ahead and submit it. Early submissions give our judges more time to review your work and give you more time to focus on your demo:

Competition Rules:

  • Eligibility: The Rovo Cup Canada is intended for participants based in Canada. Participants may be asked to confirm their province or region as part of the submission form.

  • Team format: Participants may enter individually or as a team. Each person or team may submit one original Rovo agent for consideration.

  • Build requirements: Submissions must use native Atlassian products and Rovo capabilities only. Marketplace apps, external plugins, or non-Atlassian add-ons are not permitted for the competition build.

  • Submission requirements: Each submission must include the Rovo agent or solution name, a short description of the problem it solves, the intended audience or use case, and enough detail for judges to understand how it works.

  • Demo requirements: Participants must provide a short Loom, Zoom recording, screenshots, or other approved demo assets showing the solution in action.

  • Shareability: Submissions must not include confidential, customer, personal, or proprietary information. Participants must be willing to share enough detail that the approach can be understood and, where appropriate, recreated by others.

  • Original work: Collaboration is encouraged, but each participant or team must submit their own original work and must not copy another team’s response.

  • Deadline: Final submissions are targeted for October 9 unless otherwise confirmed by the organizers. Late submissions may not be eligible for judging.

  • Judging process: Community leaders will review eligible submissions after the deadline and shortlist up to five finalists for the live event. Finalists may be asked to present or demo their solution during the event.

  • Final judging: Finalists will be evaluated by the event judges during the live event. Planned judging criteria include originality and creativity, usefulness, ease of use, robustness, and clear use of Rovo or Atlassian workflows.

  • People’s Choice: Organizers may include a People’s Choice vote for attendees to select their favourite finalist during the event.

  • Prizes: Prizes may include gift cards, a custom Rovo Cup trophy, and/or a follow-up showcase opportunity, subject to final sponsor and organizer confirmation.

  • Code of conduct: All participants, attendees, moderators, and judges must keep discussion respectful, inclusive, and aligned with Atlassian Community guidelines.
