JQL ("Jayquill") is a great tool to find things. It can, however, feel a bit rigid when you have to manually type in values you're looking for.
Luckily we have things called "functions" that give us a LOT of flexibility in our statements. Tired of typing in multiple user names and sharing multiple saved filters? There's a function for that. Hate adjusting dates every week? Functions has you covered.
We'll cover topics like:
๐ What Jayquill functions are and how they work
๐ Some commonly used functions
๐ Using functions to make dynamic queries
๐ Using functions to manage SLA's (Service Level Agreements)
๐ And more!
This session is interactive. Bring your questions and let's explore together!
It is also entirely free and hosted on Youtube. A recording will also be made available in case you miss it.
This is the first in a series of sessions on how to find things in Jira.
