AI notetakers are now part of everyday work for many teams, capturing calls, producing summaries and generating action items almost automatically. But there is still a bigger question: where does all that knowledge actually go, who can access it, and how does it connect back to the work your team is already managing? In this virtual Dublin Atlassian Community session, we’ll look beyond AI transcription and explore meeting management as a discipline, from agendas and recurring meetings to decisions, actions and Jira work. We’ll also look at why keeping meeting knowledge inside your Atlassian environment can be as much a governance decision as a productivity one.
Date: September 24, 2026
Time: 5:30 PM Dublin Time
Location: Virtual
Almost every team now has access to AI tools capable of recording, transcribing and summarising meetings. But generating more notes doesn’t necessarily mean creating better team knowledge. Decisions can still disappear, action items can get lost between meetings and Jira, and recurring meetings can leave months of valuable context scattered across different tools. This session will explore how teams can close that gap and turn conversations into structured, accessible knowledge and work.
We’ll look at meeting management beyond the AI notetaker: how to manage agendas, recurring meetings, decisions and action items; why recurring meetings are particularly difficult to automate well; and what it takes to move from something discussed in a meeting to an actual tracked Jira issue. We’ll also explore the governance side of AI meeting tools and why keeping meeting knowledge within your Atlassian environment matters. In the second half, Lukas will give us a practical and transparent demonstration of Meetical, including what it can do today, what it can’t do yet, and where it delivers the most value for project leads, operations managers and client-facing delivery teams.
Lukas is the Founder and CEO of Meetical and has spent more than 12 years working within the Atlassian ecosystem. A certified Atlassian consultant and former PwC IT Consultant & Product Manager, he founded Meetical to rethink how meetings, knowledge and actions connect inside Atlassian. Meetical won the Atlassian Codegeist Grand Prize in 2020 and subsequently received investment from Atlassian Ventures.
You don’t need to be an Atlassian expert to join us. If you’re a project lead, operations manager, delivery manager, consultant, team lead, or simply someone spending a significant part of the week in meetings and wondering what happens to all that knowledge afterwards, this session is for you.
It will be particularly relevant for teams managing recurring meetings or client-facing projects where every kickoff, workshop and status call creates decisions and actions that need to remain organised, accessible and connected to the work.
This Dublin Atlassian Community virtual session is free to attend and open to everyone. Join us on September 24 to look beyond the AI meeting summary, explore how meeting knowledge can connect with Jira and your wider Atlassian environment, and see how Meetical is approaching the challenge in practice. 🚀
