What started as a small idea from a customer call turned into something bigger — and ended up winning Atlassian’s Codegeist 2024.In this talk, we’ll share how feedback from teams using our existing tools sparked the idea for Apwide Booking, an app designed to make booking shared resources (like test environments, meeting rooms, or even people) much easier.
This is a story about building with purpose, listening to users, and finding smart (and simple) ways to solve very real problems in Jira.We’ll also compare native Jira approaches to managing shared assets vs. streamlined alternatives, and (with your help!) do some stress-testing and explore how the app holds up when integrated with Atlassian Rovo AI assistant.
