Welcome back, ACE Los Angeles! We’re kicking off 2026 with something a little different — and a lot exciting.

This year, we’re partnering with the atproto Los Angeles meetup (the developer community behind Bluesky’s AT Protocol) for a joint evening that spans two communities, one big idea: the era of the accidental builder is here, and it’s more fun than it sounds.

Atlassian has been quietly lowering the floor on what it takes to build a Forge app. If you were at Team ‘25, you saw them talk about vibe coding Forge apps. At Atlas Camp earlier this year, they showed Studio Next in action — and the bar to getting started is lower than ever. Whether you’re reaching for the Forge CLI, leaning on Rovo Dev, or letting Claude Code do the heavy lifting, the tools have caught up to the ideas.

That matters for admins too. You don’t have to want to build to end up building. Atlassian is making it so easy that your stakeholders are going to start asking. Come get ahead of it.

We’ll have community members demoing things they’ve actually built — including projects that bridge the Atlassian ecosystem with the open, decentralized web. Then we hand the mic to atproto LA at 6:30 for their half of the evening.
