Netflix isn’t the typical company and its cloud migration isn’t the typical story. The journey to Confluence Cloud started routinely but slowly went sideways. Layers of data cruft from a decades-old, on-prem install; gaps in the migration tools; and migration testing that felt more like a slow spiral to nowhere led to a crisis point.
