Agile Planning in Jira made easy by Gabriel Wielkopolski, Old Street Solutions
Collaborative teams are looking to replicate the planning experience they get from a physical workshop in the digital world. None of the available solutions quite cut it. That's why OSS designed a unique planning canvas, that allows you to set up a digital workspace that matches how you work, not how the tool thinks you should work. Gabriel will be demonstrating Old Street’s newest Jira Cloud App, Agile Planning Boards, that’ll allow you how to synchronize your ideation data inside Jira using virtual canvases.
We will be handing out some free prizes, including t-shirts and free annual licenses of Agile Planning Boards for Jira Cloud, for all attendees!

John’s ability to advocate for the customer as well as maintain the integrity of the organization is unmatched. When I reported to him, he had just taken over the Operations portion of a project on which we were both working. He immediately crafted a plan to complete the application along with processes for testing and documentation. John handled the details of each screen, trained the developers and engineers on how the system worked and edited the documentation to convey system specifics. He was ever available to discuss the project and was always open to new ideas and putting them into practice. Working with John has taught me so much about business and how a good management style can inspire a team.
John Funk is the Agile Tools Administrator at Ramsey Solutions (a Dave Ramsey Company) in the Nashville, Tennessee area. He currently serves as the lone dedicated Jira Administrator for 900+ users. John has more than 15 years of project management experience in the Federal Government Contractor area along with another 12+ years in the private/commercial workspace.
John is also an Accredited Kanban Coach (AKT) and has a passion for process architecture/improvement. A teach at heart, he also enjoys conducting classes in Jira and Kanban for the entire company.
