Agile at Scale using Jira Software and Portfolio for Jira by Eduardo Lessa, Gurnet Consulting
Can agile practices work across a large portfolio of many teams and lots of developers? We will look at the role of context and autonomy, as well as some common characteristics found among high-functioning agile portfolios. Successful organizations communicate across the portfolio. They share knowledge and break barriers between organizational silos.
We need to approach agile at scale differently. The reality is, in order to effectively operate agile at true enterprise-scale, it needs to be understood and approached deliberately.
Meat, vegan, and gluten-free meal options will be available. We will have several food options, so you will not be left hungry, but the main focus is fresh, organic sushi with a smoothie service as well! Also, we will not forget the pizza lovers.

Leading strategic agile implementations to new heights. Providing strategic direction on technology and process areas.
The current area of focus:
The two predominate scaling methods are the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and Scrum @Scale.
The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) has established itself as the leading approach for large organizations to adopt agile practices across their enterprise. SAFe adoptions are complex and lengthy as they involve many areas and procedures of an organization.
Scrum@Scale is a framework within which networks of Scrum Teams operating consistently with the Scrum Guide can address complex problems, while creatively delivering products of the highest possible value. These “products” may be hardware, software, complex integrated systems, processes, services, etc., depending upon the domain of the Scrum Teams.
