Choosing the Best Planning Estimation Method by Jacek Wizmur-Szymczak (Spartez)
Sometimes we haven’t estimated for a long time, the backlog is huge, and time is limited. Sometimes we have a team that can meet in the same office, sometimes it’s distributed and work is in different time zones. Sounds familiar, right? Here is a set of proposals for how to tackle the most common issues around planning and which methods of estimation to use.
Atlassian at Waters with Liz Redden, Steve Valliere, Barbara Indermitte, and Steve White (Waters)
Join is for an in-depth exploration of how the Waters Corporation adopted and configured JIRA and Confluence to solve the challenges of a high-tech Analytical Laboratory instrument and software company.
Hybrid Configurations with JIRA and Confluence by Miles Faulkner (Blended Perspectives)
Out of the box Jira supports Agile plus Kanban and of course Portfolio enables scaled Agile planning. In most large organizations though, there are many teams using MS Project and SharePoint and other planning tools such as Clarity. Yet every team should plan together! This presentation will introduce participants in ways to support other planning approaches such as pure waterfall and a hybrid approach “Scrum-Fall”. Add-ons such as Big Picture, Traffic Lights, and Tempo will be introduced. We will also be providing tips and tricks to help traditional PMs and PMOs embrace Jira and Confluence.
Lightning Member Use Cases
Because this user group is about providing value to our users, As we did at our previous meetings, we will invite five attendees to describe their Atlassian use cases for the group in only two minutes! The top three compelling descriptions as judged by the group will be awarded a bottle of high-quality wine with the following price ranges: first prize $ 100, second prize $75 and third prize $50 plus new Atlassian brand SWAG.
