Russell is a Manager of Agile Delivery at Elsevier Inc., the world-leading provider of information solutions that enhance the performance of science, health, and technology professionals, empowering them to make better decisions, and deliver better care. Russell has had extensive agile experiences in the Developer, Scrum Master and Product Owner roles, and now as an agile coach within Elsevier leadership. Russell has 10 years of Atlassian tool experience, primarily in Jira and Confluence across multiple industries, with 8 years of experience administering Atlassian environments. Russell has consulted countless teams and organizations in standing up new Atlassian instances, best practices in tool use, as well as training their teams in the effective use of the tool for organizations and instances ranging from 10 users to 20,000+. Russell is a leader of the Philadelphia ACE.
Coming from a multi-faceted technology background, including Software Development and Quality Assurance, James is a passionate Atlassian expert and champion. James uses his expertise to support and enable others throughout the Software Development Life cycle and unleash the potential in the tools they utilize.
Mike is a full-stack Atlassian Administrator, building location-agnostic and stateless containerized implementations of the various tools. Using, chiefly, the combo of Jira to run processes and Confluence to document and report on said processes, he uses both "pattern" and "anti-pattern" approaches to his implementations. In his current organization, very little moves that doesn't have a Jira issue associated with it, ranging from typical engineering to facilities work orders, office services, and marketing/creative projects. With this approach he regularly gets comments like, "I couldn't be successful in my job without your support" and, "You gave me my lunch hours back."
