1. Automation in the clouds: A look at the differences by Jean-Philippe Comeau
A talk around the differences between automating on-premise Atlassian tools versus the cloud versions.
Jean-Philippe has been working in the software industry since 2011, starting as a QA tester in the gaming industry and moving quickly to tools engineer. Tasked with helping internal customers achieve their automation vision, he learned about scriptrunner quickly. With a newly found passion for process, tools and support engineering, JP moved to a consultant role with Adaptavist where he helped customers achieve their Atlassian vision. As a customer success advocate, he now helps all Adaptavist customers get the most out of their Atlassian tools and apps, discussing today's challenges in the DevOps space and putting customers goals at the forefront of everything Adaptavist does.
2. Build Integrations in Minutes: Connect any system to Jira using REST integration by Rickard Atthem & Peter Atthem
In this session we will go through three customer use cases that we have solved for and how we did that using Integrations hub for Jira.
Outline of the demo scenarios:
ServiceNow - Jira Customer that has their commercial team in Salesforce and the dev team in Jira. Where they want to escalate cases from ServiceNow to Jira and the developers should be able to comment in Jira and that should be added to ServiceNow automatically.
Onboarding of new Teams A growth company had a need to automate setup of Jira project, confluence space and GitHub repo to cope with their growing speed. This demo will show how that was done and how it works.
Incident process for bank The need was to have the teams informed in Slack and autocreate channels per ticket that brings in the team owners into the channel automatically. They also had a need to create an incident in Statuspage whenever it was acknowledged
