Many organizations use Jira to manage the work their product development teams are doing. The challenge comes as organizations start to scale to multiple teams. The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) is a widely used framework for organizations working at scale, and it can be managed by out of the box Jira configurations.

But as organizations implement Essential SAFe® there is a need for planning and reporting tools that are beyond what Jira can provide out of the box. These tools include Program Increment (PI) Boards, Dependency Reports, Program Velocity Reports, and Roadmaps. This is where VisualScript can help. VisualScript is a cross-team planning and reporting tool available in the Atlassian Marketplace that supports organizations that have implemented SAFe®.

In this presentation Senior Solutions Engineer and Product Manager, Evan Golden, from VisualScript will provide an overview of SAFe® including the different levels and configurations. The presentation will answer how you can implement SAFe® using Jira out of the box, and will provide details around the challenges of reporting at scale. Next, will be some details around common tools and reports used in a SAFe® implementation, and finally there will be a demonstration of our Essential SAFe® solution with VisualScript.
