Ready to design an intuitive, high-performing portal experience for your customers?
🚀 Moving into the next phase of our ACP-420 certification journey, we are focusing heavily on configuring customer-facing features —a major section that accounts for 21% of the entire exam! In this session, we dive deep into the building blocks of the customer portal: Request Types. As a project administrator, knowing how to align your internal workflows with user-friendly request pathways is vital for ensuring high portal adoption and clean data capture. We will cover everything from initial field setup to customizing what the customer sees versus what the agent sees. In this session, we’ll cover:
✅ Request Types & Issue Types: Understanding how issue types power your portal's request types.
✅ Portal Groups Management: Creating, deleting, and grouping request types, or hiding them from the portal.
✅ Field Customization & Layouts: Adding, removing, and reordering fields while distinguishing between the customer view and the agent view.
✅ Required Fields & Validation: Defining required fields within field configurations versus within the request type itself.
✅ Status Customization: Learning how to map and display clear, customer-friendly workflow status names on the portal.
✅ Access Restrictions: Restricting specific request types to a subset of individual customers or groups within a project.
Bring your design and configuration questions as we map out clean, professional portal experiences live!
🛠️ It is entirely free and hosted on YouTube. A recording will be made available if you can't join us live.
