Texas ACE Fun Day: Galactic Themed Day at a Horse Ranch & BBQ – FREE Event!

Get ready for an unforgettable day where the thrill of a country ranch meets the adventure of a galaxy far, far away! Join us on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at a working ranch in Waller, TX (just outside of Houston) for a completely free Galactic-themed event.

This special gathering is designed for adults but welcomes families who wish to bring their children. Enjoy a BBQ feast and a full day of complimentary activities, including horse and pony rides, bounce houses, a petting zoo, and more. Dressing up as your favorite character is optional, but all are welcome to join in the fun however they like!

This unique event is a fantastic way for Atlassian Community members and their guests to connect while enjoying Texas ranch life and Galactic-inspired excitement. Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind, free rodeo and BBQ experience!

🚗 Transportation Options

We're offering two great ways to get to the event, so you can choose what works best for you!

🚌 Option 1: Charter Bus from Dallas

Hop on our free charter bus from the Dallas/DFW area to the event in Houston! We have 56 seats available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to reserve your spot when you RSVP. We'll send you a confirmation, in addition can you please complete the questionnaire via the link below.

The form will ask for:

• Confirmation that you’re still attending

Travel Itinerary – Saturday, October 18

📍 Meet Location: 1905 Ascension Blvd, Arlington, TX 76006 (Free parking available behind the building in the lot)

• 8:30 AM – Meet at the pickup location
• 9:00 AM – Depart Arlington for Waller, TX
• Please arrive 30 minutes early to allow time for loading. Bring any snacks, strollers, or carry-ons you may need. The drive will take approximately 3.5–4 hours with no scheduled stops.
• 1:00 PM – Arrive at the Ranch in Waller, TX
• 6:00 PM – Depart Waller for Arlington
• 10:00 PM – Arrive back in Arlington

📝 Registering Minors

When you RSVP, please be sure to note the number of minors attending with you in the designated section. If a minor does not have their own email address, please contact us directly at houston_texas@atlassiancommunity.com, and we will manually add them to our registration list.

🗺️ Traveling within Greater Houston Area

The event is located in Waller, TX, just a few minutes away from the Waller Buc-ee's off the 290. Please see the map below for the exact location.
