The ACP-520 is Atlassian's newest certification, covering the site administration role in Cloud, like user and group management, default groups, special groups, and managed users. With SSO and Atlassian Access becoming ubiquitous, it's extremely important for site admins to know how they all work together to properly manage access to their instances.

In this virtual ACE event, we'll talk about how to prep for the exam, what you'll learn, what value it has for administrators, and some "gotchas" in taking the test.

Joanna Thurmann: Joanna is a Senior Certification Developer for Atlassian University. She became an official Atlassian in 2020, but her love for Jira dates back to 2006, first as a Jira systems administrator at an enterprise customer and later as a consultant and trainer at ServiceRocket, an Atlassian solutions partner. She has led trainings and presented talks at numerous Atlassian events and worked on nearly all the Atlassian certifications and badges. Outside of work, she is passionate about service and social justice and loves roofing homes in Tijuana, Mexico.

Suzanne Valjanoski: Suzanne brings over a decade of learning design, credential, support, and enablement experience to her new role at the helm of Atlassian's Certification program. Prior to Atlassian, Suzanne was the Director of Certifications at Salesforce, where she led strategy, promotion, and program growth for Trailhead. She is passionate about learning, thinking outside of the box, getting stuff done — and also about tacos.
