About this event

We're back for our first event of 2018 and we're teaming up with Atlassian on their first ever round the world Team Tour!

If you haven't heard about it yet, check it out here: https://www.atlassian.com/company/events/teamtour

If you're already signed up, make sure you join us afterwards where we'll share with any new members what the purpose of an AUG is, and what it can mean to you. Some of our valued members from John Lewis and Metrobank will explain what being an AUG member means to them and why they repeatedly return to our meetups. Hopefully not just for the free beer!

James Blackstock, a senior Project/Programme Consultant in ASOS, will share his experience of using the Atlassian suite of tools over the past 10 years.

Carl Storey, a Tooling Analyst in the Ministry of Justice, will talk about how they've used JIRA and Confluence to support the wider company.

Some members have joined the group, not as Atlassian users, but of teams with an interest in using the Atlassian tool suite. Others have had previous experience with some of the tools, but now need to know how to increase their usage within a new company or from moving from start-up to enterprise level. This is the kind of knowledge and experience that is shared at the monthly meetups. We'll also have a feedback session from our current members, so if you've any suggestions on how to improve the meetups going forward, please bring along your ideas.

We've been informed that some Atlassians from the Team Tour will be in attendance, so if you've got a question about one of the tools that you've always wanted answered, or there's something you're really struggling with at the moment, this could be your opportunity to get your questions answered!

As usual there'll be great networking opportunities with free food and beers!

Please RSVP and invite your colleagues/friends!
