Work Doesn't Work Without Teamwork: Why Team Health is The Most Important Metric

Feb 24, 9:30 PM – Feb 25, 12:00 AM

We've all been there: the company says they care about team health, but from your perspective and that of your peers; it's just not true. Or, you're an executive and you know the product teams aren't working as well as they could, but you don't know how to justify spending more money on team health when the profit margins aren't where they should be. We're here to help.

About this event

Welcome to the Tacos & Team Health Tour!

We've all been there: the company says they care about team health, but from your perspective and that of your peers; it's just not true. Or, you're an executive and you know the product teams aren't working as well as they could, but you don't know how to justify spending more money on team health when the profit margins aren't where they should be. Our three speakers will show you why focusing on team health is the most important thing you can do to transform your company from a business that's getting there, into a powerhouse of whatever industry you're in, all by focusing on the true unit of success: the team.

- Mark Cruth, Atlassian's Modern Work Coach, will lead a hands-on workshop on why work is broken, and how to fix it.

- Mark Nijmeijer, Sr. Director of Product Management at HYCU, will share how backup and recovery is core to keeping your team happy.

- Bryan Guffey, Sr. Atlassian Administrator at Sonos and LA ACE Leader, will discuss how we shape our teams by the tools we use, and what we need to do to ensure our tool choices support who we say we want to be.

And of course, all great teams start over great food, so we'll be feeding you some of the best tacos in LA, along with sides and drinks!

NOTE: in order to ensure safety for all attendees and ensure our event is the most accessible to all, in-person attendees will be required to either:
1. Wear a KN95-or-better mask except when eating
2. Provide proof of a negative rapid COVID test from the last 12 hours
3. Take a rapid COVID test on-site and test negative

Tests and masks provided free of charge!
