Livingstone Makori is an Experienced, Passionate, Innovative and hands on team leader with managerial experience in leading teams, Strategy, Business Development, Product development, Sales Management, Regional operations and Distribution.
He holds an MBA (Risk Management and Insurance), Chuka University, Bcom (Risk Management and Insurance (Egerton), a Certified Digital Marketer and several certifications in leadership and training.
He has more than 10 years’ work experience spanning gained through leadership in clubs and societies as director of student’s welfare, students Counsellor, Chairperson of alumni Association and working in the Banking, Insurance and financial services industry. These experiences have shaped his perspective on careers.
Livingstone is the Founder of corporate Career Academy and promoter of Corporate Career Responsibility as a form of CSR, an initiative to link Academia and industry enabling industry experts to invest and nurture future industry leaders by sharing knowledge, Skills and opportunities with students and young professionals for career growth.
Livingstone is passionate with career and leadership empowerment by guiding students and professionals make informed career choices. He Coordinates leadership and career sessions for Corporate career Academy. The initiative has so far organized 65 career discussions with more than 70 experts, reached more than 45 institutions of higher learning and attended by more than 10,000 participants .
