How Atlassian is Planning for the Future - Ben Center, Atlassian NYC
With over 130,000 customers, Atlassian has had to be laser-focused on the ever-changing landscape of software development, IT, and team collaboration. Learn about how the company is thinking about some of the challenges facing teams today, and what we have in store for the coming year.
A Round Up of Third Party Testing Apps - Miles Faulkner, Blended Perspectives
As a core tool for software development teams, Jira provides a platform for enabling and integrating testing functions as part of the SDLC. Miles Faulkner, Co-CEO of Blended Perspectives, will provide an analysis of three Jira testing apps (marketplace) to understand how they address the secret sauce of testing – how teams together identify problems and fix them quickly. Apps being covered include X-Ray, Zephyr and Test Management for Jira. The focus is not a detailed feature-by-feature comparison, but a logical framework to help you select the right app for you. The approach can also be used for any broader 3rd party apps that you need to select for your Atlassian platform.
A Lightning Talk on Giving a Lightning Talk - NYC AUG Leaders & You
Got a great Atlassian success story to share, a problem you solved, or a horror you encountered (Never, off-course!), or just want to talk Australian about your favorite Atlassian tools, but don't know how? The NYC AUG is always looking for fellow AUG members to present and share real-life stories. We will present a lightning talk on how you - as an AUG member - can plan and present a great, short, and engaging talk at the next AUG meetup to your peers.
As always, outside of these topics and talks, we'll have food, drinks and plenty of networking opportunities; and maybe even a prize or two.
