Atlassian Summit 2019 Recap, Dileep Bhat & Kapil Samadhiya, NYC AUG

Dileep and Kapil, co-leaders of AUG NYC, will present the highlights from the Summit that includes announcements and mentions of the most interesting talks.

Enable DevSecOps using JIRA Software - Mostofa Rahman, BNY Mellon and Saurabh Gupta, Addteq

In this session you will learn how BNY Mellon is tackling the challenges of DevSecOps at scale by unifying static/dynamic source code scanning, audit and risk analysis tools into a unified workflow by utilizing JIRA. BNY Mellon’s ability to generate reports from multiple sources had become a time consuming manual process. JIRA, having demonstrated the ability to deliver efficiency at reporting, was an ideal solution for tracking the security aspects of the SDLC process.

A Pragmatic Approach to 'Going SAFe' - Nelson Jordan Jr. and William Rojas, Adaptavist

The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) has established itself as the leading approach for large organizations to adopt agile practices across their enterprise. SAFe adaptions are complex and lengthy as they involve many disciplines and procedures and can impact many areas of an organization. This presentation will offer real-world challenges which may bring an organization to consider SAFe and offer pragmatic solutions to these both from a process and a tooling perspective. Sample configurations and customizations will be presented in a way of these solutions.

As always, outside of these topics and talks, we'll have food, drinks and plenty of networking opportunities; and maybe even a prize or two.

Any questions, please let us know. We hope to see you there!
