Kick off to a brand new year of exciting talks and networking with your fellow Atlassian users at the local NYC Atlassian User Group meetup! We're back at the spacious offices of our gracious host, Schoology, right above Penn Station.
Atlassian added Trello to its PM suite because it addresses a different market than JIRA. Trevor Longino, from Unito IO, will speak on how all you Atlassian super users should see Trello as the gateway app to get people in your org happier to use project planning tools that are part of your ecosystem, rather than BYOD and BYOA.
After four years of rapid growth, Young & Rubicam (Y&R) group's Atlassian environment now supports over 16,000 users and thousands of projects. Craig Castle-Mead, from Y&R will present this journey of growth and outline some easily actionable items regardless of your environments age, size, or complexity that will help you scale as you continue to grow. Or, in Australian, “S**t, I wish someone else told me when we started doing this!”.
Got a great Atlassian success story to share, a problem you solved, or a horror you encountered (Never, off-course!), or just want to talk Australian about your favorite Atlassian tools, but don't know how? The NYC AUG is always looking for fellow AUG members to present and share real-life stories. We will present a lightning talk on how you - as an AUG member - can plan and present a great, short, and engaging talk at the next AUG meetup to your peers.
PLEASE NOTE: Security at this location is strict and the capacity is not as high as previous locations. Please ensure that you RSVP and that the name you provide matches what is on your ID - otherwise you won't get in. Unfortunately, we don't have control over event location security or capacity. Once capacity is reached, we will start a wait-list; but those on the wait list are not guaranteed entry.
As always, outside of these topics and talks, we'll have food, drinks and plenty of networking opportunities; and maybe even a prize or two.
