I began working in Information Technology and Operations in 1998 as a Business and Quality Assurance Analyst at Best Buy on payroll, point of sale and Y2K projects. Since then I have continued my IT journey as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, Release Manager, Testing Manager, Trainer and Data Analyst. I have stayed in the IT industry as it continues to offer constant changes and opportunities to acquire new skills.
Experience Highlights
I have been extremely fortunate to find a position that offers new challenges from assisting teams looking to migrate from waterfall to agile, training first time users as well as seasoned tool administrators, to working with leadership teams to determine how Atlassian tools can take them to the next level. I sought this position as an opportunity to learn what was happening in the various US technology markets and I have not been disappointed. It has also provided me with the chance to learn how traditional development teams are using the agile framework to increase quality and speed of delivery. As an early adapter of agile, I have had the privilege of not only observing the transformation of IT, but being an active participant in this fast paced and ever- growing industry that has become a central factor in our lives.
Areas of Expertise
As my preferred tool set is Atlassian, I joined Clearvision in 2016 as a Technical Consultant and Trainer. Using the skills I have acquired in managing the procedural side of business and IT projects and resources, I am able to work with team members at all levels to improve and expand their use of the Atlassian tools. My particular area of expertise is listening to clients explain their objectives and then assisting them in configuring the Atlassian tools to match their cultural and professional goals. My approach is to use technology to support and enable existing processes while also seeking opportunities to increase the collaboration that the Atlassian stack provides.
