The Philly ACE Summer Thunder Storm is something to look forward to! Like any Summer Thunder Storm, we will have Rain, Thunder, and Lightning!
Rain: We're going to make it rain with swag, food, beverages, and networking!
Thunder: We're hoping to get some "rumblings" from Atlassian to pass along to all our attendees! What a better way to advocate for the use of our tools than to get some "coming soon" information. Please note we are still talking with Atlassian to try and get the process for rolling that information out, so this is a TENTATIVE topic... backup plan is to have some audio of thunder playing in the background so we're still on theme lol. Last year at this event we announced the Stride/Hipchat/Slack news, so that's a tough "rumbling" to top!
Lightning: LIGHTNING TALKS! That's right! We want to see as many of you give talks about what you know and love about Atlassian tools, or if you want to use your lightning talk to talk about a particular challenge you are facing and ellicit help from everyone in attendance! We will give the opportunity for people to sign up in advance and we'll feature you in the event page, or come and jump up when we open the floor for additional ad-hoc talks during the session! (Please note if you have slides, we will need them AT LEAST 2 hours prior to the event start time.
I work full-time in the corporate tech world as a Delivery Manager (aka Scrum Master). I'm a Trello enthusiast and use it in all realms of my work: my personal side hustle and professionally. I'm new(er) to Atlassian and keep learning more about Jira every day. If I'm not at work, you'll find me creating magic with flowers or working on a design concept at home.
