The Richmond AUG is hosted by the Social Media Giant; tumblr. Seth Ganz, Support Ambassador at Tumblr has invited us to join them for a night of Totally Tech Conversation. Gain insight on how tumblr utilizes Atlassian products to keep their gears turning. Also, Richmond AUG's founding member will share what becoming an AUG Leader involves. It is not all play, but it is certainly fun. 
Come out, celebrate the 2017 wrap-up and kick off 2018 right on the James River. Eat Pizza with your fellow AUG members, network and learn about what keeps tumblr going and then walk with us to the Legend Brewery for a draft.

AUG Leadership 101	Have you been thinking about starting an AUG in your area such as VA Beach, Hampton Roads, or in Fredericksburg but your are not sure of the commitment? Maybe you have thought about simply joining the Richmond area leadership. Richmond's founding AUG Leader, Katie Maynard will provide some insight of what you can expect and why you should go for it. This will be followed with a chance to ask questions.
Jira as our seat at the table	Seth Ganz, Support Ambassador, tumblr™ Seth provides insight on how they have used Jira and Confluence to be more integrated with their product. Seth will speak to how this software keeps them in the mix and in-step with the rest of the organization even though the Richmond office is a remote office. Learn how tumblr™ uses JIRA to plan for future product releases and updates, and as an issue identification and filing tool once the product is updated. Seth will also give insight on how Confluence keeps their agents updated about things identified, and how the whole company is kept in sync by maintaining product information.
Questions and Answers	This brief period will be dedicated to asking Seth questions regarding tumblr's use of Jira and Confluence.
End of Year Conversation	We will close out our year with a quick round of conversation suggesting topics for 2018.
