“The Space Between: Netflix’s Cloud Migration Story”

Netflix isn’t the typical company, and its cloud migration isn’t the story you might expect. The journey to Confluence Cloud started routinely but slowly went sideways. Layers of data cruft from a decades-old on-prem install, cracks and gaps in the migration tools, and migration testing that felt more like a slow spiral to nowhere led to a crisis point. Attend this session and hear how new tools were developed on the fly to close the spaces between and led to a migration low on drama and high on likes.
