Paysafe is a fast-growing online payments company with ~120 dev teams, working on several software platforms and multiple products in the strictly regulated finance industry.

They work in an agile setup with a strong community of scrum masters and product owners. But it is still a challenge to ensure full transparency of the delivery lifecycle and to serve the information needs of all interested parties – from teams up to C-level business stakeholders.

As agile goes, they constantly strive to improve the  organization with the aim to have the utmost visibility. To achieve that, the agile delivery team helped devise the JIRA/Bitbucket/Bamboo setup in a way that minimizes time spent by developers on non-dev tasks. They designed a set of KPIs aimed towards staying at a clear and short learning loop.

Some of these KPIs are Lead time, Time to release and Cycle time. We report them using data extracted from JIRA and Bamboo APIs and visualize them on a custom tool.
