A recovering software QA Analyst, she was bitten by the Atlassian bug in 2011 when she became responsible for overseeing Confluence in the BA Competency Centre of an insurance company. Her manager was a visionary who wanted her team of business analysts to convert from Word documents to Confluence pages! As a “Wiki Gardener” her job was to help people use Confluence more effectively.
Cathy went on from that role to implement Jira Service Desk in a small Marketing Automation software company. They had one of the earliest JSD Cloud instances targeted at external rather than internal customers, with an awesome Confluence Knowledge Base.
Although Cathy works with Jira too, she will freely admit that Confluence is her favourite.
