Welcome and Introductions
Meet your new and old Atlassian Community friends and enjoy a time "building bears" with a unique purpose, to assist those in needs and to generate awareness about PANDA. PANS/PANDAS is believed to impact 1 in 200 kids, and hardly anyone heard of it, sadly. People say that must be impossible, and how many anxious kids do you know or heard of OCD, is it psychiatric or autoimmune. Some states like Massachusetts, have coverage for Pans/Pandas, rest all in-transit. Traditional medical world denies existence, uphill battle. Just about every hospital denies the existence, is the tough part. COVID made this problem so much worse, because these kids, with inferior immune systems already, just fell apart, and then masks come off and they get everything else with it, and they fall apart mentally.
