In this session, co-leader Jóvin Jóvinsson will closely examine the out-of-the-box workflows and a special category of automation rules called system rules that JSM offers and show you how to enhance them through effective customization.
Whether you're new to ITSM or looking to optimize your existing setup, this event is for you. Don't miss out on the opportunity to learn and interact with experts and peers in the field. Each session we run of Workflow Wizardry we'll look to build further and identify more complex options. All will be recorded and available for future reference!
This session will be a hands-on investigation guided by Jóvin, which you can simply watch and interact, or create your own Free instance of Jira Service Management ahead of time and follow along. The main focus of this 1st session is to get comfortable with workflow, terminology, and automation. We'll cover:
Creating & editing Workflows and understanding their terminologies
Adding System Rules to your Automations to enhance Workflows
The Automation Playground
We'll then build a simple rule to manage communications between Customers and Agents
