Hi, Atlassians from Florida! We usually get hit by bad weather and rely on those prepared to assist us. This volunteer opportunity will help us get ready and assist those helping others.

From 12:30 PM to 4 PM, we will volunteer in a warehouse, preparing care kits for further distribution among those affected by natural disasters or wars.

Global Empowerment Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2011 as a first responder to global disasters.

They have grown to a network of five distribution hubs in the USA West, Guatemala, Poland, and Ukraine, and the global HQ in Florida, USA, to warehouse and prepare goods for deployment. We can't prevent crises from happening, but we can stop perpetuating the cumbersome and expensive model to break them and shift to one that responds quickly and efficiently by empowering people and revitalizing economies for the long term.
