About this event

It starts with Trust. As more and more personal information goes digital and into the cloud, privacy, transparency, and overall trust are more important than ever before. Atlassian’s serverless app development platform is designed for building secure, reliable, and scalable apps. Forge makes it possible to build a fully-functional app in just a few hours, with hosting, multiple development environments, and API authentication built-in. Forge can be used to create custom apps and integrations or apps distributed through the Atlassian Marketplace.

Forge apps are fully hosted by Atlassian. When you build a Forge app, Atlassian automatically creates your development, staging, and production environments. You can write a single function and it will run, significantly reducing the amount of code needed to write and operate an app.

This was designed to make operating your app easier and more secure, and to save you time and running costs.

Software constantly changing, with new vulnerabilities created frequently and discovered eventually

Technical Writer | Backend Web Developer

I create worlds out of words, code, and empathy. Words to make complex concepts simpler to understand. Code to build solutions. I am a curious word nerd who has transitioned from marketer to technical writer and is en route to backend development. Because an abstraction is a way to paint the world, its past, and its future. Interests include music, technology, leadership, literature, teams, an…
