If an attendee works for a competitor of NextEra, they won’t be permitted into the building. We will have folks to escort attendees from the lobby to the Innovation Center and then back to the lobby when they’re ready to leave.

Mike is a Technical Account Manager at Atlassian, where he serves as a single point of access across all of Atlassian for the company's largest enterprise customers. Mike helps Atlassian's enterprise customers maximize their gains in team productivity by providing best practices on deployment of Atlassian solutions, optimizing processes and feature usage on the toolset, risk mitigation through operational reviews, and strategies for scale and availability. Mike's background includes over twelve years of experience in the software industry, over six of which involved serving as an Atlassian application administrator among other former roles of software engineer, Scrum Master, and process improvement team lead. In his free time, Mike enjoys playing board games, attending and performing in live theatre, and spending time with his wife where they live in Champaign, Illinois.
Ian Cooperman is an Atlassian Consultant with Isos Technology who started his journey with JIRA and Confluence as a Program Manager looking for a more efficient way for his digital teams to plan, track, and collaborate on their work, all while providing transparency to leadership and stakeholders. After 10 years of experience using Atlassian tools to optimize and scale teams at both small and large organizations, he remains an Atlassian enthusiast with the goal of assisting others to get the most from their Atlassian suite of products. Ian’s consulting takes on a unique blend from his passion for leading teams, his product expertise, and years of hand-ons experience in agile software development. He is an Atlassian Certified Professional: Agile for JIRA and JIRA Project Administrator. When he is not “geeking out” on all things Atlassian, he spends his time with family, surfing, serving his church and community, and occasionally dabbles in real estate investing.
The Crossing For A Cure is a long-distance paddle challenge and international championship race that takes paddlers 80 miles acrosss the Gulf Stream from Bimini in the Bahamas back to the Florida mainland. The event was inspired because of the incredible health benefits of the Ocean for those living with cystic fibrosis, a terminal lung disease.
Piper was diagnosed with CF when she was four years old.
