A presentation of a typical agile team continuously improving via the value of metrics in the face of many challenges many teams experience. We will use a fictional scenario and interactively demonstrate the team's experiences. We will demonstrate that it is important to understand that typical agile metrics are not always useful and the team needs to find their own way to success. The impact of misuse of metrics by management or PMOs outside the team can be disastrous.

We will cover the typical metrics and debate their pros and cons before discussing the broader topic of Agile metrics, with an overview of business metrics. We intend for this to be a very interactive session and our success will depend on the participation of the audience.
