To celebrate our 4th year, we are having a 2017 kickoff held in the beautiful and spacious Crown Room at Schlafly Bottleworks. For the first time, SIX (6) sponsors - in addition to Atlassian - have come together to reserve this great venue and help ensure your thirst - for Atlassian knowledge and your favorite beverage - is quenched and your bellies are satisfied.

We hear you: We often hear how you like the opportunity to hear from other members - for example, how are others using JIRA, what plugins are others using successfully for Confluence, how did this or that org roll HipChat or Questions out to their IT org or even their whole company. This event is an answer to this frequent request. Let's get a big turnout - don't worry about the weather, it'll be nice and comfy inside this spacioius room.

This meeting is different: Think of this meeting as our annual 'AUG in Aug' social-type meeting mashed with a regular-type meeting with formal content. This one flips the normal ratio of mingline and content: plan on about 3/4 networking/mingling, and about 1/4 formal content. We are hoping the content from the 1/4 drives conversations for the other 3/4 of the time.

This meeting is for you, and them: This is an ideal type of meeting to introduce your colleagues to the user group. Many of us have co-workers who are using Atlassian tools daily, yet haven't been introduced to our AUG or haven't attended in a while.  Pitch to them the value of attending.  Besides content, for this meeting in particular meeting attendees have more opportunities to connect with and hear from other customers, be introduced to to Experts, snag some Atlassian swag and have free food and drink.

The room can hold 80 people comfortably. Let's kick off the year well by having a good crowd and great meeting.
