About our presenter:
Our presenter, Sebastian, is from Siebert Media, based in Wiesbaden, Germany. Founded in 1996, they were poised to jump in early on with Atlassian and are now one of the largest Atlassian vendors in the world. They have US-based presence and a couple of their folks are joining us in-person for this session.
No matter where you sit in the Atlassian ecosystem, as a customer or a vendor, this presentation will be compelling. They have some notable products in the Marketplace (Agile Hive, Aura, Draw.io, Linchpin), and they have many years of experience working with various Atlassian customers to draw from.
RSVP and mark your calendars so you can be sure not to miss hearing co-CEO Sebastian go down the rabbit hole. I'm sure you will enjoy his story.
I want to learn about one of their products. Will this presentation include information on them?
Great question. As is the case for all of our events, partners are asked not to shill for their products. In this case the presentation will be focused on the topic at hand, though some mention of their products may occur. However, questions about their products are more than welcome after the presentation in post-presentation Q&A or while mingling before or after the meeting.
Does this cost anything?
Atlassian Community events are always free. All you have to bring is your interest and curiosity. We provide food, beverages, swag and the venue. Hope to see you there.
Speaker profile brief:
Sebastian has been with Siebert for most of their Atlassian journey. Sebastian will be joined in the visit to our ACE-St. Louis group by his colleague, Colin Helke (Midwest-based Consultant).
1) Special Swag - in the past we have given out tons of T-shirts and cool socks.
This time we have something new: Atlassian-logo'd winter beanies! Our event platform doesn't allow for embedded images so I will try to get a link to it up later, but trust me, you'll want one for the winter months ahead. Be the first in your neighborhood to have one! All you need to do is make it to our next meeting....
2.) Charitable Opportunity - one of the many fine Atlassian vendors out there is Appfire. As part of their Corporate Social Responsibility program, Appfire Town, they offered - for this month only to ACE Leaders to hand out to ACE members - a $20 gift card to give to a favorite charity.
