We have had our social event in August every year dating back to 2014`,when we were an 'Atlassian User Group' or 'AUG' thus our 'AUG in Aug' name for the event. It would be our 10th annual event but we were forced to skip it in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic.

It has traditionally been our most popular event, we hope you check it out - it's an opportunity for many good conversations and the best swag and raffle gifts, plus various food and beverage options!

And it's easier to come and go, since it's strictly social. Arrive and leave at a schedule that works for you, as there are no presentations to arrive and stay for.  Stay for a few minutes or a few hours, it's all good. We expect a good number of Atlassian customers, partners and possibly some Atlassians to attend, so it's a great opportunity to catch up and network. Everyone will receive two drink tickets for whatever Urban Chestnut offers, and you can expect an array of food to choose from throughout the event. And be sure to stay for the raffle of cool prizes!

WHERE IS IT?  We decided that if it ain't broke, don't change it...so we are once again at Urban Chestnut in The Grove neighborhood. 

WHERE TO FIND US ONCE YOU ARRIVE: We will come a little early to commandeer some of the back tables.  if you haven't been to Urban Chestnut-Grove, the main entrance leads to a short set of stairs to ascend that open into a long hall. Walk down that hall to the other end, that's where we will plan to be  If the weather is tolerable, feel free to walk out to their sheltered outdoor patio through the nearby set of doors. 

BE SURE TO STAY FOR THE RAFFLE!: We hope you enjoy your time with the conversations and food and beverages that will all be available.  Towards the end of our scheduled time, we hope you stay for the very cool raffle prizes; the raffle will take place at some point in the second hour (we will announce it so everyone can gather).  We don't yet have a list of what will be offered this year, but they are typically things such as the latest electronics offerings (gaming consoles, wireless headphones, etc.) or generous gift certificates. 

Feel free to bring a few colleagues along.  RSVP'ing helps us plan - also, Atlassian utilizes early RSVP numbers to decide upon type and numbers of swag to offer, so RSVP early if you can).

Note to our remote members: We wish you could join us in person! Without a formal presentation there seems no sense to have a virtual component for this meeting. However if a few of you are interested we could set up a short Zoom interaction to have you join us with a virtual beer clink and quick hello.
