As a change of pace, we have a new venue AND our second lunch event. In this event exclusively for the St. Louis AUG, Praecipio Consulting's Jillian Flock - through a live and interactive webcast - will walk through sample use cases and demonstrate how automation can make life easier for JIRA users and more. See more explanation on our event site including an exciting announcement!
80 RSVPs
Jira admins and power users alike are often interested in ways to get more out of the platform, and one way to do that is through automation. Praceipio Consulting's Jillian Flock, a co-developer of Turbo Kit for Jira, will walk through sample use cases and then will describe how automation in creating and setting post functions in the workflow makes life easier for JIRA users, how to improve quality assurance and more.
We open the doors to this event at 11:30am and aim to start the interactive webcast at high noon. We plan to have time for questions after Jill's talk.
We have a recently acquired Atlassian User Group-exclusive slide deck on "Confluence's Recent Updates and What's Coming in 2018" to share with attendees.
UPDATE: For our attending Charter IT employees - you won't need the following information.
Once you arrive at the Charter/Spectrum headquarter's building - it's the tallest building in the neighborhood - at 13736 Riverport Drive (which your favorite GPS app or device should locate), drive to the back (south) of the building. Your view from the back of the building should look something like this (captured from Google Street View). While most employees will park closer to the building, the parking lot is spacious so drive towards the far end of the lot either further south, or to the west and you'll find a spot.
Once you park, walk in the main doors of the building (see arrow on the photo, but you won't miss them even without the photo to refer to) and find the elevators on either side as you walk in. Take the elevators to the 5th floor where you should see an Atlassian User Group. Also noticeable will be a person there to check you in - due to building security, you will check off your name (grabbed from the RSVPs) and then be directed to the right down the hallway, to our meeting room which is a short walk down to the left. And if you are a walk-in who hasn't RSVP'd that's okay, we can handle that. But don't be that guy/gal...RSVPs help us to order the appropriate amount of food and beverages so if all possible please do that now - click here if you haven't RSVP'd yet.
We also have the following exciting announcements to share (more details at the meeting):
1.) Praecipio is hosting a 'Game Day' Event for Atlassian AUG members and their colleagues on Wednesday, April 25 from 6-9pm at the Westport Social Club. Dinner is included! Everything is FREE. Fueled by successes of the Game Day approach in other cities, they're ready to come to St. Louis. Read up on the details here: https://prcp.io/GameDay-STL-AUG Please help their planning by signing up soon.
2.) Atlassian is interested in running a half-day DevOps workshop in St. Louis for our AUG members! If you attend this April 19 AUG, I will share more. We are looking at early June (may have the date determined by the time of the meeting). If you cannot attend the meeting but are interested in this workshop, please shoot me an email (tom.crespi@atlassianusergroup.com)
